We Write for Every Man, Not Just One Kind
Most men’s grooming publications were built for the same guy. Same hair texture. Same skin tone. Same background. If you fall outside that narrow profile, you have probably spent years reading advice that was never really written for you.
CulturedGrooming.com exists to change that.
We are the only men’s grooming publication built specifically for every cultural audience. Our content is organized by cultural identity, not by generic product category, because the best grooming advice for a Black man with 4C hair is fundamentally different from the best advice for a Korean man with straight, dense hair, or a Muslim man with a beard that carries religious significance.
Our Mission
Become the most trusted grooming resource for culturally specific audiences worldwide. Not just a niche site, but the definitive reference every man reaches for when he wants advice written for someone who actually looks like him.
We cover 10+ cultural segments with dedicated editorial teams for each:
- Asian Men (East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian) — the highest-volume, most underserved segment in men’s grooming
- Black Men — fades, waves, 4C care, beard grooming, and the full spectrum of textured hair
- Latino Men — haircuts, beard styles, and grooming routines built for Latin hair and skin
- Muslim Men — beard grooming rooted in Islamic tradition, halal product guidance, and fragrance advice
- Middle Eastern Men — oud fragrances, dense beard care, and skin routines for olive and deeper complexions
- Redhead Men — sun sensitivity, beard color, and the grooming challenges specific to lighter pigmentation
- White Men — classic barbershop traditions, European grooming heritage, and skincare for fair to medium complexions
- Jewish Men — beard traditions, skin care, and community-specific grooming norms
- Mixed Race and Curly Hair Men — routines for hair types that rarely fit neatly into one category
- Pacific Islander Men — thick hair care, Polynesian grooming traditions, and product recommendations for larger builds
- Nordic and Sensitive Skin Men — barrier-focused skincare, redness management, and fragrance sensitivity
Our Editorial Team
Every article on CulturedGrooming.com is written by an author with lived experience in the cultural segment they cover. We do not assign a generic staff writer to cover Muslim beard grooming or Black men’s wave routines. Our authors bring credentials and personal authority to their work.
Jack Brennan is our Editor-in-Chief. He oversees editorial standards, fact-checking protocols, and cross-segment content. His role is to ensure every piece meets our quality bar regardless of the niche it serves.
Daniel Park covers Asian hair with a focus on Korean and East Asian textures. His background spans K-pop-influenced styling trends, traditional East Asian barbershop techniques, and the science of straight, dense hair types that Western grooming brands routinely ignore.
Darius Washington and Jaylen Torres lead our Black Men coverage. Between them, they cover the full range of textured hair care, from 360 waves and 4C natural routines to fade maintenance and beard grooming for deeper skin tones.
Carlos Espinoza writes for our Latino grooming section, bringing expertise in Edgar cuts, skin fades, and the Latin American barbershop tradition that has quietly shaped modern men’s haircut culture.
Omar Al-Rashid leads Muslim grooming coverage. His articles address beard care within Islamic tradition, halal-certified product guidance, and fragrance recommendations grounded in oud and Arabic perfumery.
Karim Haddad covers Middle Eastern grooming, with deep knowledge of oud fragrance, dense beard care, and skincare for olive complexions.
Rohan Mehta and Arjun Singh-Goldstein handle South Asian coverage. Rohan focuses on Indian hair types and Ayurvedic grooming traditions. Arjun bridges Sikh beard care and Indian hair culture with faith-specific context.
Avi Feldman writes for our Jewish Men section, covering beard traditions, community-specific grooming norms, and product recommendations appropriate for observant readers.
Finn O’Sullivan and Erik Lindqvist lead Redhead and Nordic coverage, specializing in sun-sensitive skin, redness management, and the unique challenges of lighter pigmentation that mainstream grooming brands rarely address.
Jack Brennan also leads our White Men section alongside his Editor-in-Chief duties. His coverage spans classic European barbershop traditions, old-school wet shaving, heritage grooming brands, and skincare routines for fair to medium complexions. His perspective treats white male grooming as a distinct cultural tradition worth exploring on its own terms, not just the assumed default.
Tane Matua covers Pacific Islander and thick hair content, bringing Polynesian cultural context to hair care advice for men whose hair type is chronically underrepresented in grooming media.
Marcus Chen-Williams writes for our Curly Hair and Mixed Race section, covering the full range of curl patterns and the challenges of hair that does not fit cleanly into one cultural category.
